Awana is a Christian discipleship program for children, founded in 1950. At Apison Baptist Church (ABC), we have Puggles (2 & 3 year olds) through T&T (3rd – 5th grade). Children play games, have snack time, learn Bible verses and God’s Truths, as well as develop lasting friendships. At ABC, Awana runs on Wednesday evenings from 6:00PM – 7:30PM in the Faith Building from August to May.
Lindsay Brinkley is our Awana Director. She started Awana at ABC in 2023 after a decade without a children’s program. Lindsay is married to Matthew and has 3 children; Camden, Micah, and Adelynn. They started attending ABC in November 2021 and joined shortly thereafter with a love of small community and church family.
